Volleyball: Maggie Miller named Player of the Year, Donoho students named to All-County Team

The Donoho School is proud to announce Senior Maggie Miller has been named The Anniston Star’s Calhoun County Class 1A-3A Volleyball Player of the Year!

The Anniston Star had much to say about Maggie’s success, stating that she “was the clear choice to repeat as The Anniston Star’s Calhoun County Class 1A-3A volleyball player of the year.”

Maggie distributed 862 assists along with 42 service aces and 14 kills this season. Throughout her time on the Donoho Volleyball team, she passed over 2,500 assists.

In addition to her athletic abilities, Maggie is known for supporting and encouraging her teammates. She built a relationship with each member of the team, and helped guide them on and off the court.

Congratulations, Maggie!

In addition to Maggie’s honor, The Donoho School is proud to announce five students were named to the Class 1A-3A All-County Volleyball Team.
