Katie Athon, James Gavino, and Emma Arnold participated in the Alabama All-State Chorus Festival held at Samford University, April 3-5, 2014.
All-State Choral selection begins each fall with a rigorous audition process. Each spring, qualifying students from all across the state gather for the All-State festival. The festival provides an opportunity for those students with outstanding ability and initiative to receive public recognition, to sing under the direction of nationally recognized choral clinicians, and to perform choral literature of the highest quality. Students spend ten to twelve hours in rehearsals. The festival concludes with a middle school concert on Friday evening and a high school concert on Saturday afternoon.
