Six faculty members retiring this year

This year we have six of our outstanding faculty announce their retirement after serving a combined eighty-seven years at The Donoho School.  Many of you were lucky enough to have these faculty members as a part of your Donoho experience.  Mrs. Sue Canter has been a PreK teacher in the Lower School as well as part of the Admissions department.  Mr. Matt Ford is the Upper School History Teacher, History Department Head, Assistant Baseball Coach, and the Voice at the Falcon football games.  Mrs. Jacqueline Gaines has served as our Director of College Counseling for eighteen years.  Mrs. Gina Mangum is the Middle and Upper School Math Teacher as well as the Math Department Head. Mrs. Tricia Seals has served as the Lower School Librarian for the last eight years.  Mrs. Jennie Wall ‘78 is the Upper School Choir Director as well as the private voice instructor for those younger and older students wanting to take lessons.  In honor of their dedication, the school will be putting together a special memory book specifically for each of them.  These books will contain letters from students, faculty, staff, and alumni, as well as photos and memories for them to enjoy during retirement.  We would like to ask you to take a few minutes and share with us your favorite story, memory, or letter to be included in their book.  The greatest gift you can give is a “thank you” for the influence on your life.
