Sixth Graders Travel to Camp McDowell

The sixth grade class traveled to Camp McDowell Environmental Center on March 4 for three days of environmental studies and learning outside of the classroom. Their sessions included topics such as Native Americans of Alabama, survival skills, team building, and earth science. Students also participated in canoeing and identifying the macro-invertebrates found in a local pond. Thanks, Mrs. Plunkett, for planning this trip for a great group of students!
