Mr. Phil Webb Appointed to The Donoho School’s Board of Directors

The Donoho School is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Phil Webb to its Board of Directors. Mr. Webb is the owner of Webb Concrete & Building Materials, one of the most successful family-owned businesses in the state. Mr. Webb began his tenure with the company in 1976 at what was then “Farmer’s Supply Company,” the family business his grandfather founded in 1945. He purchased the business from his father in 1982 and has grown it into the company it is today.

Mr. Webb is well known for philanthropy and serving in his community. He serves on the Board of Directors for many organizations, currently to include Business Council of Alabama, Alabama Concrete Industries Association, Calhoun County Home Builders Association, JSU Foundation, JSU School of Business and Industry and Board of Visitors, Calhoun County Economic Development, and Noble Bank & Trust.

Mr. Webb is a member of the Calhoun County Quarterback Club and Anniston Rotary Club. He is both a member and Past President of the Calhoun County Chamber of Commerce. In addition, he is Vice-Chairman of the Greater Alabama Council of the Boy Scouts of America and serves as Chairman of the McClellan Development Authority, Knox Concert Series, and YMCA of Calhoun County.

The ability to serve is the basis for every venture Mr. Webb undertakes, and service is the most important element of his business philosophy. Donoho is fortunate to welcome Mr. Webb’s leadership and dedication to service to its Board of Directors.
