Host Families Needed

The Donoho School has partnered with gphomestay! Gphomestay is an educational service company that provides quality homestays for international students who attend American high schools.

We have six international students attending The Donoho School and we are planning to expand the program. For this reason, we are searching for caring families to open their home to an international student. Our students enjoy getting involved and learning more about American culture. This is also a great opportunity for your family to learn more about a different culture and way of life.

Host families receive a monthly stipend of $700 to cover costs that arise with having an extra person in your home. Host families also have access to ongoing support from a local Residential Coordinator.

You are welcome to host a student for one or two semesters, but there is also the possibility of choosing to host again the following year. The students typically study in the United States with the intention of graduating from an American high school.
