📚We checked in with Emily to see if she had any words of wisdom for our current Donoho family. Her response was, “Take advantage of every opportunity you can to learn and grow. I am a firm believer that we all can be life-long learners.”

⏳We also asked Emily how her life journey has been impacted by her time at Donoho? “I do not think I could overstate the impact that Donoho has had on my life. The excellent educational program at Donoho offered a foundation that allowed me to be successful in my academic pursuits and well prepared as I entered the professional world. While academics are of the utmost importance, I count my classmates, extracurricular activities, and the Donoho community among the major influences in my life as well. Not everyone gets to play a sport at a big school. At Donoho, we could play them all – and many did! The amazing experiences gained from being on a team, in a play or part of an after-school club were not always reflected on a score board, but they provided many lessons on teamwork, adversity, and perseverance that are a part of life as well. Many in our Class of 1999 stay in touch and enjoy spending time together. I especially love running into classmates or their parents or siblings unexpectedly and catching up on life. The close knit community of Donoho has always been unique and special to me, and I enjoy it to this day.”

Congratulations, Emily! We know you will continue making us proud.
