The Donoho School Drama Department is excited to offer a unique opportunity to all of our 1st- 6th grade students.
Musical Theatre Camp will be every day after school from 3:00-5:30 the week of March 3rd – March 7th. Students will learn songs and choreography from the Disney Broadway musical Beauty and the Beast. The cost of camp for the week is $65 and will include a Beauty and the Beast Musical Theatre camp T-shirt. All students who participate in the camp will be considered for casting in small roles in the The Donoho School Drama Department’s production of Beauty and the Beast at the Anniston High School Performing Arts Center on May 2nd and 3rd. Participation in the camp does not guarantee a part in the actual play.
Camp actors will present a short dramatic showcase on Friday, March 7th at 5:00 in the Upper School Cafetorium. If cast in a role for the May production, students will be required to attend rehearsals April 29, 30 and May 1 at Anniston High School Performing Arts Center and at all three performances of Beauty and the Beast on May 2 and 3.
