Donoho alums Dr. Anand Iyer ‘03 and Emily McBride ‘10 had a coincidental meeting in Washington, D.C. today.
Anand is in D.C. this week for the American Thoracic Society meeting. He has been getting the opportunity to meet staff for our U.S. Congressional Representatives and advocating for the lung health of people in Alabama.
He was able to meet with Emily who is a Legislative Assistant at United States Senate, Office of Tommy Tuberville. Anand says that she is a passionate advocate for our state. “It was great talking health and healthcare in Alabama and reminiscing about Donoho.”
When we both found out we were fellow Donoho alums, we were like, “What are the chances 
!”
So proud of both these Falcons on the Hill representing Anniston and standing up for Alabama.
