Donoho Seniors Sign to Continue Athletic Careers at Collegiate Level

Congratulations to Huntingdon College and Faulkner University for gaining commitments from two of Donoho’s athletes and scholars.

This morning, Kam Thomas and Andrew Harris signed to further their academic and athletic careers at the collegiate level. Blue and red table decorations symbolized the two schools making offers to our athletes.

Kam Thomas signed a commitment to Huntingdon College for Track and Cross Country. He is the first athlete from Donoho to receive an offer in this sport. Cross Country and Track and Field Coach Haley Long believes Thomas has what it takes to thrive at the next level, ” I have been with Kam over 5 years, he has worked very hard to get to this point. We are all very proud of him.”

Andrew Harris signed a commitment to play football at Faulkner University starting in the Fall of 2020. Coach Mark Sanders commented, “It takes tremendous effort to balance the academic and athletic demands of being a collegiate athlete, both of these boys are more than capable. We are thrilled they are taking their talent and ability to the next level.”

After signing, Harris and Thomas both donned the hats of their respective schools. Athletic Director Steve Gendron stated, “This is a small step in the college process. We are happy for Kam, Andrew, and their entire families. Congratulations to each of them.”
