Fifth and sixth graders were treated to a visit by local author, Dr. James Ready (pen-name Greywolf). Dr. Ready spoke with students about his historical fiction book Wil and Ro, which takes place in 12th-century England during the days of knightly chivalry and ladies-in-waiting. Students learned about the process of writing and publishing a book, as well as interesting historical information about Ivanhoe and medievalism. Copies of Wil and Ro may be purchased online at Amazon.com, and Greywolf will be glad to autograph copies.
Dr. Ready is the father of Spencer Ready ’05 and Will Ready ’11.
