Congratulations to Madelyn Thompson and Sanjana Mupparaju for earning a spot in the 2019 Alabama Bandmasters Association All State Honor Band Festival. This is the highest individual honor to be awarded in our state. Madelyn earned 1st chair high school blue band. Sanjana earned 2nd chair middle school band. They will perform at the end of April in Huntsville.
Congratulations to Anna Amaral, AJ Long, and Madelyn Thompson for earning a spot in the 2019 Alabama Bandmasters Association District 2 Honor Band, to be held on Friday and Saturday, February 8 and 9 at Albertville High School. District 2 encompasses a very large region, so this is a great honor. Anna earned 3rd chair, AJ earned 8th, and Madelyn earned 5th.
