Sophomore Receives President’s Volunteer Service Award

Community service is a strong mission of The Donoho School and our students have taken this charge seriously. Our students in grades 9-12 are required to complete 15 hours of community service each school year, but some of our students far exceed expectation. Devin is one of those students.

President Trump awarded Devin “The President’s Volunteer Service Award: Gold” for completing over 250 hours of volunteer work. The award was established by President George W. Bush after the events of 9/11 to promote volunteerism, helping our neighbor and foster a spirit of community within our nation. Devin received this award for his volunteer hours from 2018.

We are so proud of Devin for his hard work and well-deserved recognition. If you would like more information on The President’s Volunteer Service Award, please click on this link.
