The Donoho School and K98 Scholar-Athlete of the Week: Hannah Christian

Hannah Christian, a senior, is a member of the varsity volleyball team as a middle hitter.

Hannah carries a 4.1 GPA and scored a 28 on the ACT. Her favorite subject is history, and she is currently enrolled in AP Government and Economics, AP Biology 2 and dual enrollment through JSU for English. Her greatest academic achievements are being inducted into the National Honor Society and the National Spanish Honor Society.

When asked who has had the most impact on her academically and athletically, Hannah said, “Academically, my parents. They have pushed me to do my best and work hard. Athletically, Coach Janice Slay. She pushes us everyday in practice to better ourselves as players and instills in us the importance of hard work.”

She is a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Students, Focus Group, Knox Concert Service Committee, Marksmanship Club, Science Club and Spanish Club. She is also involved in the DD Club.

Hannah is the daughter of David and Nikki Christian of Anniston and sister of Maren, ‘17. She is unsure about her college plans.
