Students Compete in Trumbauer District Theatre Competition and Advance to State

Donoho Arts Collaborative (DAC) theatre students participated in the District 7 Trumbauer Theatre Festival at Jacksonville State University on November 4th with over 325 students from surrounding areas.

Students advancing to State for Individual Events: (Every student that competed in an Individual Event will advance to State in at least one of their events.)

Chloe Cater and Cory van Ekris received All-Star cast awards for their performance in DAC’s One Act play, I Never Saw Another Butterfly.

One Act play, I Never Saw Another Butterfly won Best Set Design and Best Show. This is the second year in a row that Donoho has won Best Show.

Donoho was in the top three and will all advance to State! Congratulations to Fine Arts Director, Ashley Burrage, and all of our DAC theatre students!
