Donoho Sweeps the Middle and Upper Divisions of The Anniston Star’s Annual Ghostwriters Contest

Congratulations to the gifted writers of Donoho! Donoho swept both Middle School and Upper School Divisions in The Anniston Star’s annual Ghostwriters Contest.

Middle School Division:
1st Place: Caeden Patten –“The Petroglyphs”
2nd Place: Kelsie Gilmore–“Pretty”
3rd Place: Drew Williamson–“The Hayride”
Honorable Mention: Ryals Jones–“What Really Happened” (6th grade, but recognized as Middle School Division in the Star)

Upper School Division:
1st Place: Mercy Mangum–“Killer Hair”
2nd Place: Emma Weidmer–“Sweet Lucy”
3rd Place: Sarah Green–“The Painting”
Honorable Mention–Edwin Connell–“Jerry’s Home”
Honorable Mention–Adam Stremmel–“She Is Coming”

Middle Schooler Artsiom Budrevich’s spooky artwork was also featured in The Anniston Star as part of the Ghostwriters Competition.
