Grands & Gadgets

The Donoho School is proud to support a new community service program inspired by one of our students. Grands & Gadgets is a free tutorial for senior citizens designed to help them become more fluent with digital and electronic devices. These free tutorials will take place during our Student Enrichment time and immediately after school. Student volunteers will serve as a help-desk for seniors needing assistance with their phones, laptops and tablets.

During the school year, sessions will take place on scheduled dates. The sessions will be held in the Upper School Library from 2:35 pm until 3:35 pm. Attendees are asked to bring their devices and their questions to our student volunteers. Scheduled times will be announced through our social media outlets and print communication.

The goal of the program is to extend into our community through outreach to adult care facilities, civic centers and other facilities catering to the needs of our senior community. We are excited to watch this endeavor grow in the future.
