Forensics,
more commonly know as speech and debate is one
of the most rewarding and beneficial educational
opportunities available to students. Forensics
aids in developing a student's skills in areas
as diverse as writing, researching, critical thinking,
presentation, time management. Self confidence
and interpersonal communication are often improved
through competitions. Forensics is governed by
The National Forensics League and allows students
an opportunity to compete at various levels on
high school and college campuses throughout the
nation. All events are divided into two categories,
Individual Events and Debate. The Donoho School
is proud to be a charter member of the National
Forensics League and proud that our students have
been nationally recognized for their achievements
on this team.
