Dual Enrollment Offerings

In a partnership with Jacksonville State University, The Donoho School offers its students the opportunity to earn up to twelve (12) hours of college credit through its Dual Enrollment program.  Donoho students who are accepted to JSU as “accelerated” high school students are given the chance to enroll in the American History survey during their junior year and the Freshman Composition sequence during their senior year.  These courses are taught by experienced teachers with field-appropriate graduate degrees who have been vetted by JSU to ensure quality instruction that not only meets, but also exceeds the expectations of a first-year college course.
 
As a public state institution of higher learning, JSU courses transfer to all public universities in Alabama and have been accepted at numerous private colleges and public out-of-state universities as well. A correlation chart showing the required Donoho course as well as the course for which the student will receive JSU credit is shown below:
