SECOND GRADE SUPPLY LIST

Supplies needed by your student for the 2008-2009 school year are listed below. They may be picked up with room assignments and parent information at the lower school office July 30, 31, and August 1. Parents who wish to order from the school must return the attached order form with cash or check to the lower school office NO LATER THAN JULY 1. Make checks payable to The Donoho School.

· 1 pair Fiskar scissors

· 4 glue sticks, solid

· 1 box Crayola crayons (24 count)

· 1 pkg. #2 pencils (10 per package) – Black Warrior pencils, please

· 2 pkgs. loose-leaf wide-ruled paper (200 count)

· 1 box Crayola wide washable magic marker (classic, bold or tropical color)

· 1 box Crayola or ColorArt colored pencils (12 count)

· 2 packages of fadeless construction paper (1 color)-your child’s favorite color and either black, brown, red, green white or blue. Please purchase at Davie’s School Supply

· 1 bottle of Elmer’s White School Glue

· 1 plastic pencil box

· 3 pkgs. of 3” X 5” index cards

· Red pens (at least 5, for checking papers)

· 1 pkg. of 5 tabs with table of contents

· 1 pkg. rubber bands

· 1 12-24 ct. box of oil pastels, any brand (for ART)

NO mechanical pencils of any kind

NO individual pencil sharpeners

Backpack or book bag (NO TRAPPER KEEPERS, PLEASE - THEY TAKE UP TOO MUCH

SPACE.)

3 boxes of tissues

2 rolls of paper towels

Boys: 1 quart-size box Ziploc bags

Girls: 1 sandwich-size box Ziploc bags

2 Containers of Hand Sanitizer

2 large containers of Clorox or Lysol wipes

2 containers of baby wipes
