THE DONOHO LOWER SCHOOL

FIRST GRADE SUPPLY LIST

Supplies needed by your student for the 2008-2009 school year are listed below. They may be picked up with room assignments and parent information at the lower school office July 30, 31, and August 1. Parents who wish to order from the school must return the attached order form with cash or check to the lower school office NO LATER THAN JULY 1. Make checks payable to The Donoho School.

· 1 pkg. of 10 regular #2 pencils

· 1 pair Fiskar scissors (no plastic)

If your child is left-handed, buy left-handed Fiskar scissors. A good

pair of scissors makes a big difference in your child’s cutting/fine motor

skills.

· 1 box PRANG watercolors (16 colors - white top)

· 1 box of regular Crayola Crayons (16 or 24 count)

· 1 box ColorArt or Crayola colored pencils

· 1 pkg. (select any one color) fadeless construction paper (available at Davie’s School Supply)

· 8 glue sticks

· 3 pocket folders

· 1 box Crayola washable markers (bold or classic)

· 2 4oz. bottles Elmer’s glue and 3 glue sticks (for ART)

FOR ART, PLEASE DO NOT BUY ANYTHING MADE BY ROSEART

NOT INCLUDED IN DONOHO SUPPLY PACKAGE:

1 box zip-lock bags, gallon size (boys)

1 box zip-lock bags, pint size (girls)

1 backpack with compartments

This is a good way for your child to keep up with his/her work. Be sure

your child can open and close the back pack easily.

1 paint smock (an old shirt will be fine.)

2 square decorator boxes of tissues

1 Container of Clorox Disinfecting Wipes (for cleaning our desks)

*To be purchased at the school office at the beginning of school:

1 Zaner-Bloser journal
