General
The Upper Division of the Donoho School provides a demanding college preparatory curriculum designed to challenge high school students to achieve their maximum potential. Honors, AP, and/or dual enrollment (DE) courses are available in English, history, calculus, chemistry, physics, biology, and foreign languages
Credits received prior to the beginning of the 9th grade will not count for graduation requirements. After enrollment at the Donoho School, only credits received from the Donoho School will be applied to fulfill requirements for graduation. Credits from outside sources may be accepted in the following circumstances: the student transfers in too late to meet graduation requirements, or the student fails a required course and is unable to repeat it prior to graduation.
Check the Requirements for Graduation Checklist at the right to see what courses students may chose from at various grade levels. The checklist may be used to track a student's progress towards meeting all graduation requirements.
Student Course Requests for the 2008-09 School Year
As in years past, students will use Edline to submit their actual course requests for the coming school year. Students can begin entering requests on Monday, March 3, 2008. All students are expected to be finished submitting their requests no later than Friday, March 28, 2008.
Students should print out a copy of the instructions and the grade appropriate course request form from the links at the right. They should review the instructions and the form with their parents, or guardians and mark their course selections on the form. Check the course description links at the right if more information is needed about a specific course . Parents should sign at the bottom of the form to confirm their agreement with the courses selected.
Students should use the completed form to identify the correct courses, by course number, on Edline. On Edline the course catalog is arranged by subject area and course number. Students should make their selections by course number. Students must turn in the completed course request form to the school office when they finish making their selections on Edline. |
