Community
Service Program
Starting with the 2006-07 school year,
The Donoho School has required all
students in grades 9-12 to serve a
total of 15 volunteer hours per year
in their community. The ultimate goal
for this ongoing project is not only
to benefit the community, but that
it will help our students to grow
into responsible caring adults.
Among
some very worthy ways students chose
to become involved in meeting community
needs this year are: RMC volunteer,
Oxford Senior Citizens, Angel Tree
Camp, Camp Lee, Community Enabler,
Calhoun County Animal Shelter, mission
trips with local churches, Red Cross,
Knox Concert Series, and many more.
