The Donoho School Welcomes Newest Board Members

Join us in welcoming the newest three members of The Donoho School’s Board of Directors: Dr. Trista Barrentine, Mrs. Kim Billings, and Mr. John W. Morris.

Dr. Trista Barrentine is a graduate of Pell City High School and Samford University where she received her undergraduate and Doctor of Pharmacy degrees. She is an alumna of Chi Omega Sorority and Kappa Psi Pharmacy Fraternity. Currently, she works part-time at Martin’s Pharmacy in Golden Springs. Dr. Barrentine is married to Mr. Nick Barrentine, and they have two sons, Bryant (‘19) and Brody (‘25). They attend Golden Springs Baptist Church. Dr. Barrentine is a member of Matrons’ Study Club and Maskers, and her favorite pastimes include reading and cooking.

Mrs. Kim Billings is a graduate of The Donoho School (‘88) and The University of Alabama where she was a member of Alpha Chi Omega. She pursued elementary education and taught kindergarten at Leeds Elementary School for 9 years. Mrs. Billings is married to Dr. Barry Billings, and they have two sons, Hall (‘19) and Judson (‘22). She attends Mountain View Church with her family and is a member of Matron’s Study Club and a sustaining member of Maskers. Her favorite interests include enjoying time with her family, jogging, working out, traveling, and reading.

Mr. John W. Morris is a graduate of Anniston High School, Jacksonville State University, and Alabama Technical College. He is President-CEO of Morris Building Constructors, Inc. In addition to constructing over 700 building projects and developments in Calhoun County, Mr. Morris and his companies have been involved in numerous local civic and charitable contributions. He is a member of The University of Alabama Crimson Tide Foundation, the JSU Foundation, alumnus of Kappa Sigma JSU, and currently serves on the Board of Directors of BB&T – Branch Banking & Trust (East Central Board) and the Calhoun County Sports Hall of Fame Board of Directors. Mr. Morris is married to Mrs. Tammy Gidley Morris, and he has one daughter, Ali Morris (‘13). Mr. Morris and his family attend Golden Springs Baptist Church. His passion is achievement with honor and integrity while serving others.
