The Donoho School Names New Head of School

Dear Donoho Family,

Thank you all so much for your patience, interest, and support for these last few months as your Board diligently searched for our new Head of School. I am thrilled to report that David J. Noone will be our Head of School for The Donoho School beginning July 1. Many of you had the opportunity to meet Mr. Noone when he visited our campus last month. A graduate of the University of Notre Dame, with studies at Dartmouth College, and Exeter College, Oxford University, England, Mr. Noone comes to us from Indian Springs School near Birmingham, having served there for the past nine years as the Associate Head of School and Dean of Academics. Prior to that, for three years he was the Associate Headmaster at The Kiski School in Saltzburg, PA.

We are all so appreciative for all of the wonderful things Dr. Hutchins has done for our school during his tenure. We shall be forever grateful for his leadership, hard work, and innovation. We wish all the best for him and his family as they transition to their new lives in Florida.

Mr. Noone will be consulting with Dr. Hutchins to ensure a smooth transition and he will be visiting us again soon. I will follow up with details of that visit so we will all have a chance to welcome Mr. Noone and his family to the Donoho family.

Again, thank you for your patience, understanding, and assistance during this process.

Tom Potts
Chairman of the Board of Directors
