The
Donoho School
is an independent, non-sectarian, co-educational, college-preparatory
day school enrolling approximately 400 students in pre-kindergarten
through grade twelve. Fully accredited by the Southern Association
of Colleges and Schools (SACS) and Southern Association
of Independent Schools (SAIS), Donoho also enjoys membership
in the Alabama Association of Independent Schools (AAIS)
and in the Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA).
The Donoho School is the only independent school in the
state of Alabama selected by the U.S. Department of Education
as a 2005 Blue Ribbon School.
Located
in beautiful and historic Anniston, Alabama, Donoho is located
within five minutes of Interstate Route 20 approximately
half-way between the cities of Atlanta, Georgia, to the
east, and Birmingham, Alabama, to the west. The school is
known throughout the area for its family involvement, college
placement record, and extra-curricular opportunities in
an environment conducive to the development of good citizenship
and personal integrity. |

Project ArtShare News: Recently, Regional Medical Center received eighteen works of art by Donoho students. Another eighteen pieces have been framed and will be exhibited throughout our school. Now our students’ talents are not only showcased within our school but also in our community. Sales of the “Support the Arts” license plate support this project and others like it all over the state of Alabama. Please consider showing your support for arts education by purchasing one of these colorful tags at the Department of Motor Vehicles. You can see a slideshow of the selected artwork here…

Important Athletic Information for Students: The Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) Central Board of Control approved the STAR Sportsmanship Initiative and added the program to student eligibility requirements, beginning this school year - 2008-2009. Students in grades 7 through 12 MUST complete the on-line interactive program and meet all other established requirements in order to be eligible for high school interscholastic athletics, including cheerleading. food items to the Interfaith Center of Concern's food bank since
the school's Concern for Others Day program was started in January
2007. The next Concern for Others Day is Thursday, September 4, 2008. The center is very thankful for your generosity, as there
