ATHLETICS

Home of the Falcons

The Donoho School interscholastic athletic program offers many opportunities under the auspices of the Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA). Prior to participation, students must comply with all eligibility requirements of the AHSAA. Follow this link to their web site to review the eligibility requirements...

Students transferring to The Donoho School who plan to participate in athletics are not eligible for financial aid during the first year of enrollment

Each Upper and Middle School student is encouraged to consider participation in the various sports offered: football, basketball, volleyball, golf, soccer, tennis, track, softball, baseball, and cheerleading.

The Donoho athletic program includes both individual and team sports that complement the school's mission promoting academic excellence. Included are the objectives of developing  self-confidence, determination, effort control, and motivation while instilling respect, pride, and commitment to a goal. Coaches are committed to promoting skills development, team play, and sportsmanship at all levels. Emphasis is on participation at the junior high and junior varsity levels.
